I have two sets of the same desktop icons with two different Iconpackages showing on the desktop. I've refreshed and rebooted, tried to load a different Icon Package, and the extra set does not go away. One set of icons I can click and open, and the other set I cannot open or delete them. How can I get rid of the other set?

Try resetting your Icon Cache. Open IconPackager, Select options. In the right hand side of the screen select either/and/or Rebuild Icon Cache and Repair Icon Images.

if that doesn't work, make sure no one is screwing with you - try changing your wall paper....yes, I've done that to someone before.

tcjuice,

Can you restore the default Windows icons, using "Tools > Restore all Icons > "Yes" to confirm > click "OK" to apply?

If so, does this remove the second set of icons?
